Us A. J. Woods started in 1889 by Arthur James Woods as a monumental and small general masonry in waterloo road, Norwich. In 1986 the company moved to new purpose built premises at Hellesdon Park Rd, Norwich. New computerised machinery equipped with diamond cutting blades devour some 500 tons of natural stone block every year which after final moulding and carving by craftsmen is despatched to contract sites, usually within 100 mile radius and occasionally further afield. In March 2006, Lady Fairhaven bought the company and saved 10 stonemasons, with a combined 210 years of experience to continue our craft well into the future. |
